Is SAT mainly for science students or can it be given by a student of commerce?

SAT is for entering into the colleges. It is an exam required by most of the public universities in USA. It doesnt matter whether you are a science student or a commerce student, SAT contains mostly english and math.

i though the SAT was an admissions requirement for most colleges, so it doesn't matter what you're majoring in, you have to give it to get in to a college.

...unless you're talking about SAT Subject Tests.
