  1. In Ontario, Canada, you can become a technician or technologist by getting a 3 year diploma from a community college.

If you want to become a licensed Mechanical Engineer, you need a Bachelor's degree (4 year) from a University.  Some Universities (Lakehead) offer transfer credit (post-diploma program, 2 years) if you've already completed college.

Either way, you'll need a recent high school diploma, or a number (4?) years of work experience since your last day of formal education to qualify as a 'mature student' or 'adult learner'.

If you've completed highschool in Canada, an SAT might not be needed.

  2. Not all universities require SAT, but your school transcript is sufficient provided you have high grades , above 90%, just apply to several universities there and you will get the acceptance, good luck
