  1. Yes Ebay uses PayPal as the medium for online transactions for customers and merchants.  This protects all parties from being cheated or ID Theft.  You can be safe with Ebay.  Have safe business dealings.

  2. I have sold several items on eBay without any trouble.  Create a Paypal account, and the purchaser will pay you directly without you having to deal with checks or sharing account information.  There is also recourse through Paypal in the very unlikely event you do have conflict.

  3. you send them through the post office or ups. it's your choice. the post office is cheaper and you choose how long it will take for items to get to their destination. parcel post is always 2 to 9 days and priority mail is 2 to 3 days. priority mail is a little more expensive because it gets there sooner. ebay will ask you what type of box you will need to ship your item(s) in and with an xbox you'll probably need a regular package or a large package and prices will differ with each. no one sees your credit card number but ebay and that is just used for selling fees. you will receive your money through paypal once the item(s) have been received.
