Samsung is another johnny-come-lately electronics company venturing into cameras. They either have little experience or have to outsource everything anyway.

Canon and Nikon have been making cameras for over 50 years, giving them experience and better quality lenses.

Some of the other electronic companies are good if you get the ones with the quality lenses. Sony has teamed with Carl Ziess on some of their camera models and Panasonic has partnered with Leica with their DMC models.
