  1. No, most of us aren't creationist, even if we believe in God and the Bible.

Most of us don't have kids with teen pregnancies, and if we did we wouldn't run for national office in the current atmosphere,  and if we were 43 and told the odds of our having a DS child were one in nineteen, we wouldn't take the chance and get pregnant for the fifth time.

Most of middle America wants abortion to remain legal, even if we hate the idea, or wouldn't do it ourselves.

Most of us can't skin a moose that would out weigh us by 800 lbs either.  Though contrary to Thompsons speech last night, I'm still not sure why its important when one is planning on being a heartbeat from the presidency.

  2. yes,pro life  pro gun. sounds like middle america to me

  3. she doesnt believe in s*x education or evolution. i mean think about this. evolution has been proven with science and s*x education and birth control?? she doesnt believe in abortion even in cases of insest or rape.  maybe thats why her 17yearold and out of wedlock daughter is pregnant. because of no s*x education or birth control beliefs. she will not be the vp candidate for long. leiberman will take the spot. you'll see

  4. Yes

Strong independent woman who is willing to stand up for what she believes.

She not only talks the talk about being Pro-life but she walks the walk of being Pro-life.

A strong conservative women scare liberals.

They believe women should stay in the shadows of men.

They have to be liberal and not allow to think on their own. How dare Sarah not follow in lock step with liberals.

I think Sarah is a fine choice the more I learn about her the more I like her.

I also look how mad the media is also a great indication of how good she is as V.P.

  5. I had never heard of her when I found out McCain chose her as his VP, so I know virtually nothing about her.  But from what Wikipedia says, she seems to be on par with the mainstream... though who's to say she'll actually stay that way?

  6. She is the glowing example of American Christian, fundamentalist, sound parenting practices. She has set the standard for family planing, child rearing, s*x education that All Parents should follow.  She wrote the book.

  7. Yes, absolutely.  Ad evidenced by the rush of support the McCain candidacy has received since the announcement.

  8. No she's not. I don't know why people who support McCain are acting like teen pregnancy is a good thing. It's not and it happens when the parents are irresponsible and they do not take the time to talk to their children about safe s*x. If she was a good mother then she would have known her daughter was having s*x and she would have made sure that her daughter took every necessary precaution to avoid getting pregnant and getting an STD. But obviously she did NOT and  neither did her husband.

So if this woman can't handle a simple s*x talk with her child then she's definitely not ready to help run a whole country!!!

  9. I certainly hope not. Her extremely conservative views do not reflect the values of mainstream America and I hope the country is not trending in the direction of her beliefs.

  10. Yes, as much as anyone possibly can be.

Edit-To those putting down her small town roots: You're antipathy towards those not like you is showing.

  11. Not even close.

  12. And you would do what ? I have asked myself why could I never be so lucky as to find a woman like her. She got everything but the big red S and a red cape!

  13. Yes, nice to see someone with morals running.  Why do you think she is being attacked so badly.

  14. Too early to tell.

  15. Not just no but h**l NO.

I hope she reincarnates as a battered wife in a Third World country, denied education and forced to have a baby every single year until it kills her.

She's a better match for the values of Wahhabi Islam in Saudi Arabia.

  16. Hillbillies maybe but she cannot related to the rest of middle America. Some of us actually have values and morals that we distill in our children and families.

  17. I hope so. Otherwise I fear for mainstream America.

  18. Yes,I believe she is.

  19. yep....

most americans value their lives, guns, and bibles...

    sorry barrack

  20. She's excellent!  She's also a fighter and won't let people within her own party get the best of her.  That's the part that I respect her for the most.

And Obama with his typical Washington insider nonsense.  Some change, eh?

  21. Yes, she is excellent for the values of mainstream, middle America.

  22. YES.MCCAIN/PALIN 08

  23. NO WAY!!!

  24. Haha, no.

    Kills animals for fun.

    Values oil over endangered species.

Allows underage daughter to get pregnant.

    Fired commissioner for personal reasons.

Has little experience (funny how that's their main complaint with Obama but yet chooses this flake).

    This is a joke...

When McCain dies this tool cannot lead our country

  25. No.

  26. Nope

  27. If you mean the PTA,a family "coping" with a teenage pregnancy like half of Americans are doing, cool. If you mean good hard knowledge of running a dilapidated country,no

Me I'm voting for myself.I know I have more integrety than 99.9% of any politicain and I'm HONEST,can balance my checkbook, pay my bills on time and know how to be nice.E

  28. she seems pretty normal to me. all families have their quirks.

  29. I don't think so.  I mean, she might have some good qualities, but no.  I still say no.  Anybody who is helping McCain is not a good match.

  30. It depends on the particular demographics of the area. She has definitely been small town/small state her whole life. She's never even lived in a big city, so I'm sure she will be relatable to some and not at all to others.

Many middle americans are split on abortion rights, teaching religion in schools, and social conservatism.

Palin is very conservative on most issues, so not everyone in the middle is going to like that.

  31. Did mainstream, middle America have an illigitimate grandkid while slashing funding for housing for unwed mothers recently? If so, then yes. She's perfect.
