Being that McCain doesn't even like women, let alone have any respect for them, it seems rather odd he would want one as his Vice President.

Although I don't view Palin as a "trophy" anything, I see your point.  It does appear that way on the surface.  I think that the next 63 days will provide lots of insight on whether Palin can handle the pressure and prove whether she's just another pretty face.  So far, I'm impressed, but I am concerned about what the Obama campaign may dig up on her.  She's an unknown.

She is there to attract Hillary Clinton disgruntle constituent base.  She would be a disgrace to the office of Vice Presidency and no one would take her seriously in the world.  However, for the republicans this is a last desperate act of the republicans to keep the presidency, and I am impressed.  They may actually pull it off.

frankly, from what I've read about the woman so far, Obama wouldn't have the gonads to carry her lunch! And some of the intrenched scoundrels in Alaska gov't who thought she'd be a joke found out differently..obviously the ground is scattered with their bodies so to speak! So, as for this registered democrat, considering her stand on issues like pro-gun,pro-life etc...I have to vote for guts and issues over rhetoric and inexperience this time around. Being the first black candidate..dosen't qualify you to be president. Hate to break that to ya!
