Iraq war :"Our national leaders are sending them out on a task that is from God," she said. "That's what we have to make sure that we're praying for, that there is a plan and that plan is God's plan."

She also stated on the Alaskan Pipeline...."God's will has to be done in unifying people and companies to get that gas line built, so pray for that," she said.

So now oil pipelines and an illegal war that breaks international law are Gods will, whats your take on all this? Makes an invasion of Iran more and more possible as days go by to me...

  1. I also like how she is saying she said no to the bridge from nowhere only after she had secured millions in funding for it through earmarks. When it looked like the public looked down on it she then condemned the project saying it was a waste of money. Then, she never returned the funding. Sounds like VP material to me.

  2. Our current president talks to God, as well. It seems to be the norm, lately. It is a bit unsettling, though, as is the banning of books. Since when did the governor decide which books could be in the public library?

  3. The book burning stuff really scares me, too. I wonder why she didn't mention that in her speech?

  4. The fact she is a book burner scares the h**l out of me.  She tried having librarians in Alaska fired for refusing to ban books.

That kind of extremism has no place in our country.

  5. no

  6. She arrived on the Political scene with exactly what we can expect from her and her party

    A BLATANT LIE

She brags how she said THANKS but NO THANKS to the federal money for the Bridge to Nowhere

    BUT

Her entire 2006 Gubernatorial campaign was run telling the people of Alaska

    I'll get you THAT bridge

If this is the kind of "Straight Talk" we can expect from these "new" type republicans

IT SOUNDS LIKE THE SAME STRAIGHT TALK NIXON chirped !!

  7. She is cute and charming, gives a good speech.

It is nauseating that she might be in the white house some day.

I wouldn't care if she had 40 years of running any of the states, she is just way to right wing....

  8. No.

Most people in the USA believe in God.

  9. No, but she sure has democrats on the run.  Seem they would rather see a woman barefoot preganant and in the kitchen, then out there solving our problems.  I welcome the freshness and the fact that she is not in the political corruption loop as the rest of Washington is.

  10. Welcome to the 14th Century.  It really makes a person question McCain's judgment.

  11. Yep, she is a fully programmed religious nutjob, which has no place in US politics.

  12. Yes she is scary, and you forgot her desire to have religion in science class. But the spin the Repugs put on it is that Dems are "scared" that her being on the ticket makes it somehow unstoppable, which is horse hockey.
