  1. One thing your link neglects to mention is it is addressed as "The Theory of Evolution" Theory being the key word. Nowhere in the Constitution do the words "Separation of Church and State" appear. It was in a letter sent to the Danbury Baptist by Thomas Jefferson in referring to a State sponsored church. If the authors of the article have no knowledge of the Constitution and attempt to say there are things it in that are not, it makes anything else they say suspect.

  2. Yes,,she supports teaching creationism in schools.  Yes,,Sarah Palin is an extremist and a disgrace. I'm enraged that she and McCain insult Hillary supporters by saying Palin could get the former Hillary supporters votes. In reality Palin is the exact opposite from Hillary. The only similarity is that they both possess female genitalia. This move by McCain is a clear indication that he has put his self-interest above that of the country.

  3. Ok, let's get the facts straight.

She is pro-life, but is ok with abortion being used to save the life of the mother (that is the only time she considers it ok, so she is still far to the right on the issue)

She is not technically a creationist.  Her mother taught science and she advocates the teaching of evolution and modern science in public school.  However, she also says it is ok to teach creationism along side evolution (which also places her far to the right on the issue, but does not make her a creationist).

  4. Probably.  She's definitely hardcore anti-g*y, anti-abortion, pro-guns, so they'll be focusing on those 3 issues in the coming weeks, for sure.

  5. please tell me what scientific "fact" shows that something came from nothing because every physics class I have taken (which is alot)  has shown that to be the case.  So if something cant come from nothing how did EVERYTHING begin.

Oh you think you have to NOT believe in evolution to believe in creation

"Religion without science is blind, Science without religion is lame"

someone way smarter than either of us...look it up

  6. Yes. She is also a global warming deniar. She clearly views science as just another opinion in a sea of opinions. In other words, she doesn't have a clue.

  7. what wrong with being a creationist???

You don't believe in creation?  Are you a ex-monkey?

  8. Probably. But that's hardly a shock. What did we expect ? I expected McCain to pick an idiot to be is running mate. I wasn't disappointed.

  9. oh gee wiz...the old g*y, flag thing   lol

    how lame are there republicans

  10. So are 85-90% of Americans, so she is right in touch with everybody else.

Once scientist had some bones, made a creature with them, it was taught in schools, but they had to come back and say they made a mistake, that creature never existed (bones were from two animals), but ......GOD does not make mistakes.

  11. Well how was the world created? Did it pop out of the sky? Maybe there was a big bang and POOF everything lay in place. What or who started that bang? Who or what made the world randomly appear?

and um, by the way her last name is PALIN not Plain. Wow, you're smart. *sarcasm* I guess you are part of the monkey chain in the evolution tree or something. I actually came directly from a human, thank you very much.

  12. She is a creationist but so am I.  I do not put ideology over science and feel that they are compatible.  I am not a fan of her views of teaching creationism in the public schools though, at least in the science classroom..

She also is NOT anti-g*y.  She vetoed a Bill that would have denied benefits to the partners of g*y state employees..

  13. Yes....she will also try to ban ALL abortions...even when the mother's life is at risk, even in rape and incest cases. Her "Feminists for Life' group: "The president of the "non-sectarian, non-partisan" Feminists For Life, Serrin Foster, describes the organization as opposed to all forms of abortion, including cases of rape, incest, birth defects, or to preserve the mother's health or life as broadly defined in the Supreme Court's Doe v. Bolton decision. FFL believes that basic human rights, including the right to life, start at conception (FFL defined as the first formation of a human zygote

  14. Republicans are very weak on supporting science and education, so they will not hold her push to put creationism in science classrooms against her.

Depending on how the question is asked, the general public will support creationism in schools, at least off the top of their heads.

This is one of those issues that people have to be walked through to oppose. The fact that creationism is not testable and cannot be proven or disproven, but is a matter of faith that does not belong in a science class.  Opposition only arises when evolution is actually removed and substituted for creationism.

  15. Sarah who. Is she a relative of yours

  16. Actually she said, "“Teach both. You know, don’t be afraid of education. Healthy debate is so important, and it’s so valuable in our schools. I am a proponent of teaching both.”

“I don’t think there should be a prohibition against debate if it comes up in class. It doesn’t have to be part of the curriculum.”

She added that, if elected, she would not push the state Board of Education to add such creation-based alternatives to the state’s required curriculum.

Members of the state school board, which sets minimum requirements, are appointed by the governor and confirmed by the Legislature.

“I won’t have religion as a litmus test, or anybody’s personal opinion on evolution or creationism,” Palin said.

  17. Who holds a backwards reality ? I think it is Mr world Peace with no ideology on change. I can save the world just follow me and we will talk of peace yes and you will get your butt shot off by the first government who does not agree with you , Science proved that even Jesus was a martyr. So what is your point here ?
