Sehwag's one-day form dipped alarmingly - after January 2004, he went through a period of 60 matches where he averaged under 29. Despite his fitness levels dropping and his one-day spot being under threat - he was dropped from the side for the home series against West Indies in early 2007 -

  1. NO, Sehwag isn't a fluke. Do you call scoring two triple centuries a fluke? He's just not consistent. He needs to work on that. Otherwise he's a fine player. He so enjoying to watch.

  2. I think Sehwag is an excellent batsmen, verry agressive in the way he plays. Having him in the side is a threat to other teams because he scores runs quite quickly. From what i've seen of him he's a good batsmen.

  3. Umm Sehwag is awesome,he is consistent and aggressive with an average of more than 50,what more do you want from a team player like him.He bowls well too, plus more than 10 of his innings have been upwards of 150.He is one of my favourite cricketers of all time.

  4. Anyone is idiot to call Jayasuriya a fluke.Jayasuriya has started all these smashing the ball in first 15 overs and now sehwag is enjoying the fruits of it.

Jayasuriya has murdered Indian bowlers careers with his own hands.Ask Agarkar and many bowlers of 90's.

  5. yes - its fluke - no consistance

  6. I do not think he is a fluke as he has a good average

a fluke is shahid afridi big time

he goes after the ball from the first one

sehwag is good player to have like marcus tres doesnt move feet but strikes the ball well

he is good player to have becoz if he strikes then india will surely will the game

have u not seen some of the great shots he does

leg galnces off drives he does it all as he modle shimself on tendulakr

  7. Sehwag is one of the most exciting batsman I have ever seen, when in full flight of course, if India had of played him in all tests against Australia last summer they would have won the series 2-1. I saw him make 195 at the MCG 5 years ago and it was the most amazing knock I have ever witnessed, he always backs his eye and shows scant respect to even the greatest of bowlers, his form and scores will peak and trough but I would have him in my team every match, terst, one day 20/20

  8. He has been inconsistent throughout his carreer.

  9. sehwag will never be consistence

  10. Dear Pramato,

Sehwag is a fine batsman, who has scored two tripple centuries in test cricket and lots of runs in ODI cricket at a great strike rate, so it will not be wise on our part to call the cricketer a fluke, as the performance is always reflected in the cricketer's ability to survive in the team with tough competition !

i think Sehwag is a better player than Sanath Jayasuriya !

    great Question,

    god bless, best wishes !

    thanks and regards!
