  1. That's called "running a business"; so long as you are registered as a business and file your taxes, that's the sort of thing that keeps America running!

  2. If you are creating your own computer, you need to be sure you have adequately described the parts you have put into it--you do not want to misrepresent the item you are selling.

But no, that's completely legal.  You can sell something you own or made for any price you can get.  As long as you aren't lying or otherwise committing fraud (like buying a good computer and replacing the parts with lesser ones and then selling it as if it were the good computer).  But building a computer and selling it--that's how alienware got started.

  3. No it is not if you are not hiding anything

You are in business and if your selling price is less than your cost then you will be out of business soon!

You can start with any price, just make sure that the customer are willing to buy your product

  4. No, not at all.  I would assume that you are building the computer from parts you purchased.  You are basically charging $500 or $1000 for the service of building the computer.  This is called business.  This is not fraud at all, you give them a fully built computer, they give you $2,000.

  5. If it was illegal, than every business on the planet would be in trouble.

  6. It's called capitalism.

Buy low, sell high, that's the goal of EVERYBODY.

If a buyer could have paid less, then it's their fault for not researching.

The seller, of course, has income tax to pay at the end of the year.

  7. No.

...as long as you pay your taxes on the difference (less expenses).

  8. In a way its fraud.
