  1. Sort of like the way he is his brothers keeper. you know the one living in poverty in fear for his life on a daily basis.

  2. No, this country was founded upon individualism, personal responsibility, and voluntary association.

While it is good to look out for another, Obama and other liberals believe that others should be coerced into paying for the welfare of others.

  3. Um no.  That makes the government big brother.

  4. his brother resides in a shack and lives off a dollar a day , Obama has this belief projected threw his speeches that he thinks he is god. he wants to be worshiped and followed , He doesn't want to lead and accomplish.

  5. I agree with above comments about big brother and this country being based on volunteer efforts.  Ofcourse it is socially recognized that people should look out for one another.  The problem arises when people are forced to help, forced to 'volunteer' and give 'charity'.  If people decide to help and give and aid and care, it should be on their terms, not the government's.

Now, before you judge what I just said, please read my explanation.  Sure, you can force people to give part of their money away for social causes (notice I said social, not infrastructure, etc) but it will not be genuine. It will not be a grand gesture.  It will be a facade. People will put on a fake smile and do a fake song and dance to paint the illusion of a happy environment where everyone helps each other. But the truth is that when you force people to do anything against their will, regardless of the ends, it will yield negative results.  How could it yield positive results when the participants are against it? Rather, communities should foster an attitude that encourages people to give voluntarily because they whole heartedly want to, not force them to give for fear of punishment, this behavior is oppresive and tyranical.

So, no, I do not think Obama's worldview is the right philosophy. But atleast it has good intentions.

  6. Well you say you are christian but when your belief is tested you do protest loudly. We should care for our fellow man and hold government accountable when it wastes our tax money. No one wants a solicalist state but neither do we want abject poverty in the richest country in the worlld.
