Is Sep -October is a goodtime to visit Switzarland? I am planning on visiting Interlakan, Geneva, Mt Pilatus,

Yes it can, in case you are not catching rainy weather. Usually and especially in October weather can be very stabil and therefore weeks of sunshine and no rain in the Alps. And the other way round.

Next plus, off-season started. So it is not so crowded and expensive as in high-season.

It can be very cold.  I was in Mt. Pilatus around mid Aug and it was FREEZING up there. And very cloudy and hard to see the valley down below b/c of the clouds and it was rainy. So bring plenty of warm clothes and a rain jacket

Interlaken I was there around Oct and went hiking on the trails and it started to snow when I was up there, and needless to say, wasn't expecting snow, so I wasn't appropriately dressed for the hike and was freezing the whole time!

Geneva, it was cold when I was there, which was Oct as well I think, I knw it was before Nov, you're next to Lac Lemans so it was very cold.

So overall, just bring plenty of warm clothes as well as an umbrella and a rain jacket! And you should be good.... and bring some good hiking boots with you too, it can be real nasty up on the trails in snow/rain.

Interlaken and Mt Pilatus will be colder than Geneva, but I think it's quite a good time to come visit, although summer is when all the festivals and things go on. Geneva will be around 15 degress in september and colder in october, however because of global warming, cant really presie!! But since I live in Geneva, in general the weather around 15 degrees. At night it will be colder though!!!! There are less tourists so it'll be easier to see touristic places. Public transport is very good in Switzerland too!!!
