Is September / October a good time to visit Puerto Vallarta, Mexico?

Just wondering what the weather would be like around then.

There is no bad time to visit paradise. This time of year it rains a lot, but it is usually in the late afternoon and early evening. This cools down the heat and makes for a pleasant evening. By the middle of October, the rains usually end, and the humidity starts to go down. The end of October is the best time of year and Halloween is a great excuse for parties.

Right now is also a time of mosquitos. If you go now, bring your DEET.

I was there last year between Oct 16-30th it was hot and humid, but nothing like May. It is tropical many bug bites so take lots of bugs stuff.
