  1. Yeah, you might get rain every day but usually it stops in an hour or two or falls late at night. The sunshine does return pretty fast during the day hours. Some minor flooding on a few streets until the drains can handle the deluge.  Rain can be heavy but most of the time you can see it coming and find something to do inside.  Minor inconvenience.

You can still find some hotels at low season prices.  Fewer crowds at this time.  By the way, when it rains in Thailand it does not usually rain everywhere at the same time.  Some places get rain and other places don't.

P.S.Choose a hotel near Pattaya 2nd Road (Pattaya Sai Song) so you can walk to many places.  Easy (10 baht) baht bus travel too.

    Have fun.

  2. Naw, you should be fine mate. It'll rain but not all day; prob get an hour or so of it then it'll go off.

You'll love it though, craziest place on earth.

  3. After about 1500B you'll be inside and it will be 98.6 degrees.

  4. This is great - - instead of writing how's in your question, you write "hos" - Freud must be up and cheering in his grave... Hos the weather in Pattaya - - this is great - - the weather forecast is lots of Hos today...

then you wirte will it be "ringing" all day - - and, if you play your cards right it will whistle and sing and stand up and salute all night as well - -

ok - just having fun - party guy - you go man, you will never want to leave...

  5. Don't worry, no matter the weather, you will have fun!!  Pattaya have endless nightlife... for all tastes. main thing is just to walk around and see it all.

There are many nice air-conditioned restaurants serving a wide variety of cuisine, (Thai, Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Italian, German, Seafood etc.) and that doesn't include the fabulous (though often comparatively pricey at between 650bht & 1100bht each) buffets served by the larger hotels. If you want to sit outside, there are also many nice restaurants - some with live bands or shows.

If you fancy something different you could go ten-pin bowling (3 centres), handgun shooting at Tiffanys (38's, 9mm's 45's), go to the cinema (110bht each), watch Muay Thai kickboxing, or go to one of the Transvestite shows which are spectacular 'showgirl' type extravaganzas.

There are far too many drinking holes to list, but they range from traditional American style bars, Irish pubs, English pubs, German style bars and Thai beer bars. They all offer a different ambiance which allows you to have several different nights out in one.

I really liked the Mercure Hotel in Pattaya...very comfortable and value for money.. http://www.discovery-thailand.com/Hotels... (75$/night in Dec) staff were helpful and very professional.  swimming pool is nice and clean. A 24 hrs Villa Market (supermarket) and a small cafe inside the market is very close to the hotel. You can shop and eat 24 hrs. Very new and nice plaza. Must go to the Street Market (near beach) to feel the night of Pattaya. Have a nice trip!!

  6. If I were you, I wouldn't go to Pattaya.  There are way better places to go in Thailand, even if all you want to do is party.  Pattaya is seedy and dirty at best.  Crawling with ex-pats and lonely white guys looking for a cheap thrill with a Thai girl.  But, if you don't mind that and all you're doing is partying all night and sleeping all day, I guess it's OK.  I would just never go there again.  If you want to go some place to party that's pretty, go to Phi Phi instead.  Pattaya is definitely not the best Thailand has to offer.  I wouldn't waste my money there.

  7. It won't be raining all day but it is the rainiest month of the year in Central Thailand. It's usually just a passing thundershower, but in September you can expect very heavy rain at times. Sounds like you're going to party anyhow, just choose indoor bars when it's raining. Have fun.
