Is Seth Rogan funny?

Can someone explain the big deal about this guy? I felt Ripped Off paying for Knocked Up. No one I was with laughed through the entire movie. He was okay in Super Bad, which was a thousand times funnier. But his acting and comic timing are horrendous. What am I missing that I read that this guy is the next Belushi or something?

It's very sarcastic humor.  I laugh pretty hard at his films.

h**l yes he's funny! I admit I never saw Knocked-Up, but Superbad was great! I don't think it's the acting that is important, but the fact that he wrote Superbad, 40yr old virgin and knocked up, and now Pineapple Express, which I personally cannot wait to see!

Will Ferrel and Steve Carell might be funny too, but they don't do much on the writing side of things, expecially not Carrell. At least Ferrell was on SNL!

I don't like him either.  But a lot of people do.  It's not your fault or his fault.  It's just that you don't like his type.  It's natural, but difficult to explain.
