Is Shakespeare too complicated for Seniors to study?! Should it only be taught in College courses?!-a senior?

  1. Shakespeare isn't all that complicated.  He just used words that your average chucklehead in today's society doesn't know.  Read his plays and keep a dictionary and thesaurus handy.  As long as the kids look up the unfamiliar words so they know what they mean, they'll get the plots just fine.  They are no more convoluted than your average storyline in a soap opera.

  3. no. you should be just fine.

    if you are having trouble you might want to rent the play on dvd, most of them are available, and afterall, they were meant to be viewed as performances more than read from a book.
