Um...no.  That was all set-up for the feud to be bulit up.  It was all part of the brilliant storyline with HBK and Jericho.

1)  It could be a storyline that he's retiring and coming back, in vengeance for his wife.  (Odds:  3-1)

2)  He wants to take months off.  Let's not forget that he's injured in the eye by the Jeritron 6000 (in HD), thanks to Y2J.  (Odds:  10-1)
