my couzin and i were born in the same year and farely close birthdates, shes 4/41991 and im 4/6/1991.

we always spent alot of time together and still do.

but while she was very out spoken and loved to sing , dance loved the attention i was really quiet, my family thaought something was wrong with me and when it keep to when we had to join primary school.people thaught i wouldnt be able to handle it, i was defnaitly scared uhnlike my cousin but i was able to handle the school work and she couldnt. she then started becomig quiet which i think could be due to the abuse happening in her family, her parents later divorced when she was 10. shes still very fun to be with but it doesnt show anymore when she is with family. we are both in our final 2 years of high school, and she just cant handle school work she isnt failing but its like her just wont stick in her mind. her mum wants to take her for a dyslexic test.she use to tare up all the books she got when young.and doesnt like 2 read.

  1. Omg I have a house in ireland. where do you come from?

  2. Just because things don't stick and she doesn't like to read doesn't mean she's dyslexic.  I've had a special education class, and there are many other disorders (including depression) that can cause one to fall behind in school.  She could definately be tested...but that's really the only way anyone will find out.  Let us know how it turns out! :)

  3. Being dyslexic means that when she is reading the letters kind of rearrange on her. Making it difficult for her to read words.

She may need to be tested for anxiety. If she is having a hard time at home, it is going to affect her school work, and vice versa.

  4. by your cousin do you really mean you? haha

  5. no, i don't think she's dyslexic. Maybe, but probably not. Are you sure there aren't other reasons she doesn't learn? Does she really truly try?

like i said, probably not dyslexic, because it's pretty difficult to get to 11th grade without failing if you're dyslexic, and even harder not to have it noticed earlier, but do talk to someone to check for some other problem, maybe?

good luck! you'll get through it. :)
