Is Silverlight by microsoft any good??

Whats its features?, How does it work?, Does it cost?

It's just like a copy of flash player but for another format like the others said very few sites use it, i know ITV use it for their live streaming. Only download it if you will ever need it otherwise it's a waste of space even though it's small.

Like a fool i downloaded silverlight onto my laptop, i have been unable to find any detailed information about this microsoft product, it would seem to be a media type of video format file but in all honesty it doe's nothing and you cannot seem to delete it i tried a few night's ago.

No it's a free update. But it doesn't work on mine although I have the specs to run it. Stupid thing!

It is basically a flash substitute.  It is free and can't really do anything bad, but only a few sites use it.
