  1. From reading all of the reviews about this school the answer would be yes as long as can afford if and yes you will be a better driver overall.

  2. A LOT depends on your current driving habits, the type of car you drive and, of course, if you plan on entering any sanctioned races.

The course, and other, similar classes offered at other raceways, can help a driver how to handle, either, a high performance vehicle, or, how to better handle and emergency situation when your car is at it's limits while on the road.  Even better, the techniques taught may PREVENT a dangerous situation from happening.  Even at the speed limits, there are BAD ways to enter and exit a turn, for instance.

The expense, and the fact that so many people are willing to pay it, goes to show just how valuable and experience it can be.  I took a similar course in the late 60s because I had been competing in local autocross races.  I was getting beat bad and not getting any better.  It turned out that a LOT of what I had learned about technique was dead wrong.  (Thanks a lot, Ned Beerbeer!)  After the school, I found my times steadily improving.

  3. Do you want to learn how to drive properly, rather than pilot a vehicle through traffic?

Reverse parking isn't driving, heel-toe gear changing, cadence braking and clipping apexes is.

f you go to an advanced driving school (or even better a race driving school), I guarantee you will come out of it a FAR better driver, with a much greater understanding of driving, your car, driving your car, your limits, your cars limits, what to watch for in traffic to tell you that someone is going to try to crash into you...

Plus you'll have a great time.
