Is Slough a good place to live in? What is the community dominated of?

The whole place is concreted over.  It's horrible.  It has no personality.

It does have decent transport links into London, but expensive.

There was a report on the news a few weeks back regarding Slough and the asylum seekers/ Romanian Gypsies and immigrants that have flooded the place....it wasn't very complimentary!  Allegedly there are more foreign youngsters in the schools there then there are British ones...

It's a bit run down,and lacking finesse.Not too much crime as it's an indian hindu stronghold.Lots of cheap good restuarents and cheap food and market stalls.Colourful.

John Betjmen wrote a poem about slough.It not very complimentary
