Is Smith Inept or Intelligent

The Naka free kick that wasn't leading to a goal and 3 points. Yesterday's penalty that wasn't leading to a goal and 3 points.

So were his decisions clumsy or did he know what he was doing. I remember some of the comments last season when the boot was on the other foot.

  1. trying to be honest here Radiotab..after watching the replay many timesthat was definately not a penalty nor a reason for a sending off, so he was either righting his earlier wrong decision when he didnt give a stonewall penalty or he clearly shmucked it up.

Either way it was embarassing to be a Celtic fan afterwards, and the winking should be investigated.. refs are getting away with this far too often lately

  2. I don't blame you for your suspicions but with a surname like Smith he's likely to be inept.

  3. hey rip van winkle missed you well it defo was not a penalty although we should have had one earlier but that does not make it right but glad that you are back my wee gem you have not missed much vile at times but seems to be getting back to normal

  4. think he is an intelligent man ,and we all make mistakes .after all  it is only the first game and everybody will be a bit nervous . but in saying that i have not met many honest policemen.

  5. he must have a brain somewhere, but its left its football knowledge somewhere else

  6. I don't think ref's cheat.

  7. inept

  8. How can you say that aboot the great man yer right about the i and the t

add these 3 and they do him justice

    dio !

  9. i would like to think he is just plain inept.he is in no way the worst out there as i think that honour would go to mcscurry.there is no doubt the big two do get the majority of the decisions esp when faced with a big home crowd.when you look at the scandals of ref bribing in countries like italy we are relatively lucky to have avoided anything such like here for a long time.what i hate more is the mafia like secrecy they get to hide behind and cannot come out and admit an honest mistake if thats what it is.

  10. first view yesterday, certain penalty. a second or third view was needed to see that it wasnt. i see you decline to metion the keeper's fould on jvoh just before that which was a penalty. going back to last season, soft freekick 30 yards from goal - not exactly a pre-meditated descision there. just so happens we have one of the best free kick takers in the world.

  11. sorry thought you meant Walter

  12. if what gus mcpherson says is true and he was winking over at their bench to, as they saw it to noise them up then something should be done..i know last season with the mccurry incident i was a tad embarrassed at the utd game but its going to keep happening if something is not done about it..it's ok us all saying whats done is done but we are the first ones moaning when the decisions go against us..a genuine mistake is one thing but if its not then they have no place on the field..they are paid professionals..they should start acting like it

oh the people with the thumbs p**s off.getting tedious now ffs
