I recently downloaded a SnoopFree software shield, and the shield supposedly protects my PC from spyware. has anyone ever used this program before? does it work? or is it just another virus disguised as a security program?

  1. I believe that what this is supposed to protect you from is keyloggers, not other spyware.  And apparently that are some situations that cause conflicts.  So you would have this if you think someone might be snooping on you.

And may I suggest that you research or ask before you download something.  Just seems reasonable.

  2. I suggest use Avast www.avast.com

Follow the link below for List of Free windows security tools that you can download and use

  3. It is NOT a replacement for antivirus, but should you ever get a keylogger it will show you the where it is located and more.

Yes it is reliable and safe.  Any suspicious program that asks for internet access, keyboard access or access to read your screan will then provide  apopup alerting you.  You then either 'Allow' or 'Deny'.  If you made the wrong choice for a legitimate program simply open SnoopFree and clear the log and also click 'Forget File'.

SnoopFree Privacy Shield which  is not another scanner product.  It's a powerful shield that guards your keyboard, screen and open windows from all  spy software.  The way it works makes it  virtually impossible for any spy program to work on your computer:

I use it and also recommend it to those who believe they may have a keylogger, then I can instruct them how to remove the offending software.
