Is Soap A good thing For acne??

I have hear many people say that regular DOVE soap causes more acne. Does it? Will it work for oily skin?

NO!!!! Trust me i've been on accutane...etc...etc. Life long battle with acne, 25 and still fighting it! Do not use soap, even not Dove soap, because it'll excessively dry out your skin. It might work at first, but when your skin starts getting too dry it'll flake and those flakes will cause more acne. Go to a Body Shop store and buy Tea Tree Oil products. Or go to a dermatologist and get on an antibiotic, anti-viral, or other medication or on isotretinoin (accutane). Or try Proactive or products with benzoyl peroxide. Another option that works for me is using Mary Kay acne products (i can't afford dermatologist now, and i'm allergic to Proactive).

No. Dove soap does not work to clear up your acne. Here are some reasons why-

♥The fragrance may irritate your skin.

♥The soap will dry out your skin and your sebaceous glands will make more oil to compensate and you will get a breakout.

If you MUST use a soap, try ivory. However, I strongly recommend Acne Free 3 Step. It has tea tree oil in it :]

no it doesnt just use soap an water in the shower and before you go to bed on your face it will all go away i dont have acne anymore
