Question:

Is Sobe LifeWater vegan?

It has taurine in it, which comes from cows, but many things use synthetic taurine.

I'm sure it says this on the website, but I can't get to it (it won't load on my computer) and I need to know, asap. (My mom gave me some because I'd passed out and I need to know if it was okay to drink / if I can drink it again)

Thanks so much. :)

  1. From what I can tell, all Taurine used in energy drinks and pet food is synthetic.  It's called Taurine because it was first Isolated in bovine bile, but is not produced using critters.

    I'd say you're good.

  2. Taurine is made from cow bile. You just ingested an animal product!!!! OMG, what will you do?

I'm being sarcastic, but honestly, why get so worked up about an energy drink? There are a lot more important things to worry about than if you accidentally drank something that might possibly contain something from an animal. Life is too short to get that stressed out.

it's down for everyone, so hard to check even

for monster, another energy drink, it is

    also contains taurine

  4. nope it's not vegan.

if it has anything from any living animal than i wouldn't say it's vegan.

  5. I don't know about Sobe Life Water, but I know Vitamin Water is vegan. My friends and I wrote a letter to the corporation and they specified all the vitamins used in this product are vegan.
