  1. Yes it is, solar energy is renewable.

    Solar energy can be converted to electric energy, heat energy.

    It can be renewed to the earth(it can come back)


  2. We consider it to be renewable.

    While the sun is consuming Hydrogen at a breakneck pace, it has enough to last for quite a while (4 billion years plus).

    Solar energy drives almost everything on the planet.

    The water cycle (evaporation-condensation-precipitation) is driven by solar energy, as is atmospheric heating that produces wind.

    The sun makes grass grow, wind blow and the sky blue.

    Wind, water and bio-fuels are considered renewable resources.

    Everything leading to the production of these resources must also be considered renewable.

  3. Yes.  That just means we're not going to run out of solar energy anytime soon.  By soon, I mean at least 3 billion years.
