Pakistan received a major setback Friday in its bid to host the Champions Trophy next month with South Africa pulling out of the eight-nation elite tournament over security fears in the strife-torn nation.Interestingly the second option is Srilanka-which is also vlunerable.

  1. yes it is

  2. Some of you ppl are simple retards. It's a brave but a sensible decision by the SA board and I won't be shocked to see the other boards to follow the same route. Why? coz of their political instability. Despite providing so much protection to Ms. Bhutto they cudn't do anything, so how do u expect these white men to travel to a place where no one knows whose the real boss. + Look at wat happened to the kiwi team on their previous tour. I don't think this tournament will go ahead in Pak

  3. SALAAM,im very sorry to say this that PAK is now a bombing country but these bombs are only for  political people.there r lots of distrubence in every country.pakistn is a country having 16 caror human beings.there is also few bad & good things in PAKISTAN.PCB has essure the ICC for full security for the cricketers.so what can they do now.THE teams like AUSTRALIA,ENGLAND & RSA only scared to play in pkstn for jst sceurity porpose,,,oh common.THEY SHOULD BE RULED OUT OF THE TORNAMENT......

  4. Not justified because voilence is happenning around the world also in south africa example is the struggle of nelson mandela our indian team visits every nation irrespective of threats for the sportsmenspirit but other nations instead of looking back in  their back yard unneccessary target asian countries which is not just and good for the health of cricket.

  5. yes alot of terrorists have moved to Pakistan from Afghanistan and some of the Pakistanis are terrorists themselves. its unsafe for a gora ( white ) to and play cricket. West Indies, Sri lanka, India, Bangladesh and may beZimbabe can go

  6. no

  7. as long as  you and i cannot give protection to thier life we cant comment..am i rit?

  8. Well peopl lik me n u can write here whtever we feel but the thing is it is a big setback 4 PCB.To their credit they have don their best in ensuring a smooth tournament. What also is interesting is that Ind,SL and WI don't hav any problems now does that imply that our lives have no value or that their lives come with a price tag.

But wait, see the dark end of d moon as well.To SA's credit a suicide bomb everyday is not what they read in their papers. So it becomes a matter of life n death for them.I understand that and what I can only say is that this unfortanate....

  9. India is not pulling off so why does South Africa fear their player'slife.

  10. It is totally justified IMO.

  11. Yes, pakistan is not a safe country. No tournament is worth risking lives for it. I'm surprised that they were allowed to host it in the first place. Surely they would've known that other cricket boards might not agree.
