Is South India better developed than North India is?

Yes,indeed south is far more developed.but some part of north is catching up faster.The problem of north is it is less socialistic in development reserving the huge chunk of its development benefits going to some rich people.where as the development in south is evenly distributed with everyone.I Feel this since i have lived in north and south .
