they are ranked first in the world at the moment by FIFA.

they are european champions and they're overall performance was amazing.

they have some very skilled players such as casillas, sergio ramos, fernando torres, david villa and david silva.

Yes they are right now, but they need to proof themselves in bigger tournament like World Cup.

after winning Euro '08, they do stand as the top european football team, but that isn't even taking into concideration the other continents that didn't play against them. They certainly DID deserve to win Euro. They were flawless and played so hard.

There are other countries that are outside of Europe that are definite powerhouses (ex. Brazil, Argentina, just to name two.) would could definitely give Spain a run for their money given the opportunity.

on my personal status yes as well. they are playing attacking futbol & creative futbol also well. they are playing strong right now. they have the creativite, talent, youth, & great players.
