  1. Can I join you once I have my baby this heat here is killing me, dont know how women abroad cope with the heat whilst pregnant but I wouldn definately go when baby is out

  2. don't go to Spain.!!...they don't speak English....try Malta English speaking and thinking....good climate

  3. I'd go.  I think there is more community spirit there.  I think you're less likely to get run over on the roads too!

  4. Be very careful about where you choose to move to when schools for children are to be considered.

I had a friend that moved to spain, put her children in the local school. Her son then got bullied. When she tried to move him into a different school, she found that there was some spanish rule about catchment areas, and not being allowed to have a child in a school thats further away from your home, when there is one closer......did that make sense?!!

She ened up back in England.

Sounds lovely though, but something which is probably worth some research.

    Germany's very nice too!

My Hubby lived in Germany for a few years as a child, he loved it!!

  5. no its full of spanish people. but each to their own. i plan to move to scotland and get a little cottage in the middle of no where with my bf and new baby x

  6. I moved to southern Switzerland near the Italian border from London 3 years ago, I love it and haven't looked back.. Wouldn't emigrate to Spain though.. Too many English!

However, Spain has children, otherwise where did the big Spaniards come from? So I assume it's child friendly.. Certainly the Spaniards I've met are nice people so I assume it's no better or worse than the UK.. However be prepared for a culture shock.. Different countries put different emphasis on different things, and if you're planning to move there without knowing anyone, you're likely to be quite lonely.
