Is Spanish the easiest language in the world to learn?

5 vowels. Sounds like it's spelled.

I know a Korean guy who learned Spanish easier than he learned English. He loves speaking Spanish and hates speaking English.

Are there any languages easier to learn than Espanol?

  1. Spanish is so easy to speak and also easy to learn especially the cuss words like p**o,c****n,pendejo etc.

  2. I think there are a lot of factors to look at when learning a language. To determine how easy a language is to learn you have to look at several things:

Why you want to learn it...

Have you learned a language within that language family...

First if you're learning the language just to know it. You might have a hard time remembering lots of things you study, just because you aren't using it in practical and daily situations. It's just like things you learn in school. If you don't use them in your current job, you've probably forgotten it.

Second, if you know another language like Italian, or Portuguese, it should be easier to learn Spanish because you understand the basic sentence structure, and there are lots of cognates that you'll recognize.

Another lesson I've learned that works for me is learning phrases that I know I'll be using. That way I know that I'll be refreshing my memory as I use it often.

Here is a website I found that has tons of the most common phrases that people use. They recorded peoples' conversations on the street, with friends, at schools, work, etc. So you hear phrases and conversational topics that they use all the time.

    Check it out.

  3. Spanish is one of the easiest languages for an English speaker to learn. A lot of Spanish words are very similar to their English counterparts because of common Latin roots. Just go to any Spanish - language website and you will immediately recognize many words and will probably even understand a couple of Spanish phrases without taking a single lesson.

  4. jejeje i speak spanish i live in mexico.

the spanish isn' easy for the verbs

    is difficult but not impossible

    see u!!!

    saludos

tambin depende que facilidad tenga cada persona.

    suerte

  5. It all depends on which language you start from. I'll assume you're going from English. In this case it isn't too easy for example

    1. There are 4 ways to say "The"

    2. Different grammatical marks and no apostorphe

    3. genders of words

This isn't as diffcult as German (16 ways to say the and 16 more for a -some of them are the same though). However coming from English I found the easiest language was Dutch. There are only 2 genders and only two major inflections. Furthermore the words are very similar - although there always is one that comes from left field. The pronunciation is a little harder - but if you focus on it before learning and revise it occasionally there'll be no problem (my dutch pronunciation is much better than my german because I learnt Dutch pronunciation before I could speak any Dutch)

    Hope this helps

  6. not really, I dont speak it but every 1 I know that can says it was easy to learn

  7. to pronounce it yup ! but to say things like some phrases you have to say the right words  but to say it yeah how it is its how u say it

  8. I think that depends on the persons capability and learning experience of the language. It's also easier if your learn both languages when you are younger...To me knowing English and Spanish has been a great thing, because, we as people need to know that languages opens new ways of thinking critically and being considerate of what you do. Being capable of speaking/communicating and knowing others peoples' opinions is a great thing! Spanish is a wonderful language and would like to learn more languages...

  9. English is one of the hardest to learn. We have a lot of stupid "exceptions" to our words and sentences... But spanish is probably the easiest way to go, it's a lot easier than french...trust me.

  10. I'm taking Spanish in High school, and its a pretty easy language to learn. It will take a long time, just like any other language to speak it fluently but its a good 2nd language to learn for an English speaker because of its similarities and I think its just a pretty easy language to learn overall..well the basics are. I know a lot of Spanish speakers and non-native Spanish speakers who have trouble with writing and reading though, like the accents and such.

  11. It is usually based on opinion, but I am taking spanish in school, and i dont think it is the easiest language to learn for a few reasons.

    1. There are 4 ways to say "The"

    2. All words are based on male/female. (its hard to understand, but if you start to learn it, youll know) So you usually need to change some letters around, and its somewhat hard to remember

    3. There are various punctuation marks. (see that little dash mark? Or how about the little squiggly line that goes over the N?)

    4. The same words can have different meanings. They are spelled exactly the same, but have completely different meanings on how you say them. (Example The word "Cómo" means "How" But the word "Como" means "like")

    5. They do not have the apostrophe. Instead of saying "Don's Car" you would say "The car of Don"

English can also be called the hardest language to learn because it has more words than any other language. But i guess its all based on opinion

  12. No Spanish isn't easy at all.

  13. ummmm probably it is pretty easy! ;-) And there aren't any languages that are easier that I know of!!
