Sportsmen's Seafoods is a very good restaurant, reasonably priced - and there's a good variety of dishes to choose from. I certainly think you should try it.  I used to live in San Diego, recently moved to Texas, still miss all the great places to eat in San Diego.

My favorite:

Anthony’s Fish Grotto at one time was voted the Best San Diego Seafood Restaurant. My main place to go was Anthony’s Fish Grotto downtown on San Diego Bay (they have three locations) a little touristy, sometimes noisy, and sometimes there is a wait, but it has wonderfully fresh fish and seafood available and I like the atmosphere, myself. My wife is from England and feels the fish and chips there are great.

Yes, it is very good and very inexpensive too.  Casual and fun place to eat and fish is fresh.  Try it....you will like it.
