Is St.Martin's a nice island?

Question

I'm going to St.Martin's tomorrow, and I was wondering how you would rate it we got a 3 star hotel, and how are the ocean's and stuff?

Yes, its a beautiful island. The best beach their is orient beach on the french side, soft sand and clean turquoise water (no big waves). As for shopping, you should go down to Phillipsburg on the dutch side. A lot of stores which sell jewlery, perfume/cologne, clothes for a lot cheaper than in north america and theirs a calm, nice beach their also.

I stayed at the Sonesta Maho resort and the beach their is nice, a lot of big waves, but its an amazing experience to see the planes land over your head, since the begginning of the runway is like 20 meters away from the beach.

Theirs not a lot of 4-5 star resort in st.maarten-st.martin so i think that you'll have a great time at a 3-star hotel.

its ok  the hotel is nice but theres alot of lost dogs running aroung but there always really nice its like they train the stray dogs

I liked both the town and the ocean.  People seemed nice. I think you'll like it very much.
