  1. any coffee is addictive, i been trying to go with just 1 cup a day because i don't like that it is staining my teeth.

  2. You are definitely addicted to the caffeine inside the coffee, the fact that it is starbucks is purely coincidence.

  3. it can get you hooked

  4. i think i have been addicted to coffee all my life, back in w.w.2. mama & daddy drink red dimond, and so did i, and i'm still going, and drinking coffee.lol

  5. Not to me. But they are good for a change of pace for a coffee drink.

  6. Sounds like you started with a mental craving that may have turned into a full-blown caffeine addiction. Yes, it is normal to start feeling nervous or jittery when coming down off caffeine, you're just crashing. It's like a smoker fiending for a cigarette. If you want that to go away, stop drinking it and the feeling will pass in a few days. I was hooked on coffee for years but I can't drink caffeine at all anymore because it makes me feel like that, and I feel so bad for people who can't function properly without their cup of coffee in the morning.

  7. I am addicted to strawberries and cream frappuccino ;)

  8. it's probably because you had never enjoyed your coffee before and you find starbucks's coffee delicious and in turn you became addicted to caffeine.

  9. At Starbuck's prices your bank account will stop you sooner or later.

  10. its normal everyone is a addicted

  11. caffine is addictive but its not like crack or something.

  12. i love the stuff but im not addicted to it.

    its different for everyone.

  13. Bottled fraps contain both caffeine and a lot of sugar. The caffeine and sugar could cause the reactions.  Yes, Starbucks, or any coffee or any sugary beverage for that matter can be addictive.  Switch to decaf.

  14. maybe we can research that cuz it might be idk but i am not saying any thing unless I'm 100% acurate and i am not sure so probably not unless you drink it way to much idk good question

  15. Eat an apple rather then to drink coffee! It acctually supplies you with more energy! :)

  16. no effence but i think starbucks coffe is nasty go dunkin doughnuts

  17. all non-decaffeinated coffee is addictive.

Caffeine is a stimulant, whose major effect is to open up blood vessels. When this happens, more blood flows, and you feel awake.

When one becomes addicted, the body begins to narrow the blood vessels so the drug won't have such a large effect on the body (also creating the psychological need for the drug).

Remember this as you try to quit. You can do it. May be uncomfortable for a while, try having smaller coffees to get used to less caffeine.

  18. It has nothing to do with Starbucks...coffee is addicting.  Ween off of it gradually.

  19. Lay off the coffee and have it like three times a week.  The buzz effect is better that way and it is much more enjoyable, and you won't be addicted.

  20. Yes, it's addictive.  The best way to stop is cold turkey.  Drink water instead of coffee.  But, I will be honest, the stuff is good!

  21. dont have to its not like coffee is bad for you. it is your source of power and energey to get you through the day

  22. Find a good-tasting substitute without caffeine, and you can get off of it. You might also have a contributing sugar habit. Sugar, however is not addictive, but it is well known that caffeine is.

  23. Yes ma'am it's addictive 2 cups is not so bad tho.

I used to drink about 5

and when i had to stop it was horrible.

    You go through caffeine withdrawal.

I got headaches every day and got nausea's alot and gained a bunch of weight (since coffee is a suppresses hunger)

  24. This link tells you about "addictive coffee"

    Hope this helps :]

  25. I'm convinced they put crack in their coffee.

  26. caffeine, the main stimulant in coffee, is an addictive drug and the more you take, the more you need ... after a while you begin to be dependant on it. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caffeine#Ef... I wouldn't worry too much ... you clearly don't take it too much so "coming off", as it were, won't be too hard. Just try too gradually drink less and less coffee, day by day.

Generally I have a cup of coffee with my breakfast at weekends, when I have time to make it 'properly'. On holiday, I genrally do this every day and it takes a week or so for my body to stop oasking for coffee when I get back to work and my normal routine, so I avoid it for a few weeks. But everybody's body is different ... it could be easier/harder for you in the same situation.

  27. All coffee is addictive.  It has caffeine in it.  However, the physical addiction is relatively easy to break.  You will have a mild headache for a couple of days and will be over it.  ust stop drinking it.
