Is Stephenie Meyer going to finish Midnight Sun or is she done for good?

I heard a few days ago that Stephenie Meyer is putting Midnight Sun on hold indefinitely because someone leaked 12 chapters of the book on the internet. I was wondering if that means she's done for good and it's never going to be published or if she's just taking some time off of it to get over what happened. Thanks for your help, I'm dying to know if she's going to finish it and I HOPE she does because that's one of the few things I have to look forward to!! Thanks

"Indefinitely". Means it's put on hold for an undefined amount of time. So who knows if she'll finish it or not? She may, she may not. She doesn't even know herself.

I hope she doesn't. Midnight Sun is a bad idea-- her readers should be intelligent enough to understand Edward's point of view without reading a book from his point of view. We all know the story of MS-- it's just Twilight! I for one am not paying money to read the same book again. And Edward isn't exactly hard to understand; why do I need a book from his point of view? I already *get* his point of view. I just don't see the point of Midnight Sun.

i think its terrible that people are thinking its rob or cathlene(spelt it wrong :D) just because SM said that she gave them the chapters of midnight sun does mean she didnt give them to other people, i dought that rob would sacrafice his job for the rest of the twilight saga movies.

So far, she's not saying.  It's just postponed "indefinitely."  She may finish it one day.  She may never finish it.  Either way, it doesn't look like we're going to be getting it any time soon.  *sigh*  I've been completely bummed out ever since I heard about it.

I hope she finishes it i really want to read it i was looking forward to this book the most... i was heartbroken when i found out it messed up my hole day..

Only time will tell. Keep checking her website because she is the only one that can answer that question. You might help her return to writing by telling people to stop illegally download Stephanie Meyer's books because that is a big part of the problem.
