Is TDS Certificate Form be prepared by Accounts Department in Finance Industry?

If yes, then what are the steps taken to prepare TDS Certificate Form? If no, then who prepares TDS Certificate Form?

I think, accounts dept only preparesTDS certificate,

Once TDs deducted it is the function of a/c dept to ensure that the

TDS is remitted to the Govt within the prescrobed time limit. so also the annual return for TDS.

The a/c dept will also prepare indicidual TDS certificate putting the acknowledgemengt no filed in each qrtr.

once the money is deducted by TDS then the consern person claimed to the TDS department and get their money back from there itself only.

Accounts department dont prepare it as far upto my knowledge. They deduct the amount, approach Chartered Accountants and they prepare form 27A for contractors and form  16 for ur employees
