  1. It's not a place where unaccompanied adults go more than once.

  2. family x

  3. Family restaurant.

  4. "a family" generally means at least one adult rite?

    sooooo.........

  5. FAMILY RESTERAUNT

  6. I would say more of an adult one, I go there on Friday nights for happy hour or for dates.  I love there drinks.

  7. Its a family resturant..you can go down there ten kids all in shorts and tanks...great food!

  8. Overall it is a family restaurant, I'm not really sure if it has a kid's menu or not.  As Mohammed said, the bar area is for adults mostly and I have seen a few TGIF bars that were quite hoppin'.. probably depends on the area.  We've gone many times with my 4 year old & she does just fine.

  9. Actually TGI Fridays is a casual dinning resaurant.

  10. IT IS DEFENITLY A FAMILY RESTAURANT

  11. In my opinion it's a little bit of both. It definitely has a family type atmosphere; however, it does have a bar area. I've been at the restaurant a few times when people have come in just to sit at the bar and have a few drinks and some appetizers. I think it's perfect for both!

  12. To be honest with you it’s both. Just about any restaurant can be a family restaurant depending on the time of day and the area you sit in. If you go to TGI Fridays and sit at the bar on a Friday/Saturday night, it’s pretty adult. They don’t even allow kids in the bar area! However, if you just go to sit down and get something to eat at anytime, you can bring your kids.

Restaurants like TGI Fridays are all encompassing by design. Like Bennigans, Chili’s, and any other number of chain type restaurants, they don’t try to have the best food, service, or decorum in town. They don’t want to be a 5 star establishment. What they want to be is the place of compromise that everyone can agree on. You may have been happier at the Sushi place down the street, but your buddy wanted a burger, and you could eat some Mexican. Therefore you guys decide on TGI Fridays.  This is why they are for families and adults, not just one group.

  13. I am a server and a floor manager at a TGI Fridays, so from the inside may I answer:  We are a "family restaurant" in that we offer a large children and adult menu as well as a inviting atmosphere to satisfy all the age group needs for lunch or dinner.  We also; however, have a bar area with a full bar and TVs for sporting events that CAN accommodate families but is geared much to the adult consumer.

(dig on the selling lingo there, no?)

That being said, don't you dare think about sitting with your 5 year old in the bar area after 7 pm.   The bar area is just that - -- the BAR.  Nothing makes me more upset then when families sit in our bar at 10 pm than complain about the noise and language.  WTF did you expect?? Youre in A BAR.    Sit on the resturanunt side you dumb f*cks.

  14. Its a family restaurant.

  15. It depends where you are in TGIF.If you are with your family to have dinner or lunch go sit and enjoy. However hanging around the Bar area is for mostly adults.Keep the kids away from the bar area.

You'll find Mohamed around the bar area.

                                         Peace Mohamed

  16. They do play loud music and I always ate there in college. I would go there with older children, maybe 8 and older. Not for the young ones.

  17. Family.

    It's a lot like Applebees or Chili's

  18. It's a great place to take the family if you want bad food and worse service.

  19. THEY do allow you in without children
