Is TOEFL exam really hard?

I'm currently in Vancouver, Canada studying English. Actually, it is more of a Preparation. After three weeks, I finish this course. Next, I will take the "Toefl Preparation" course. I'm planning to have the exam by December 2009. I also plan to go to the Lebanese American University which is a very strong University in Lebanon, Middle East.

What I have heard that toefl is really hard. You have passages with difficult terms that even native speakers can't read.

How hard is it?

What is the highest score?

I'm horrified.. What if I don't achieve my aim!!

toefl is really easy dont worry...i dont kno if ur taking the computer or paper based but both ways its much easier than other required uni tests like SAT...just make sure to study well nd concentrate

it is a very easy exam. there where very few difficult terms and most of the questions can be solved easily.

the only part that was tricky for me was the speaking section. you will have to time your speech in a certain time frame and you have very little time to prepare.
