Is TalentHunter.com a SCAM???

Question

I got this email from them saying I was a match for an upcoming open casting call for "Who Wants To Be The Next Disney Channel Star".

Well, I do know that the show "Who Wants To Be The Next Disney Channel Star" is not even approved yet. I am a consultation client of Alan Baltes, the show is his idea for a long time now, and he said that he is still working on presentation details. This company is just taking information from Mr. Baltes' website and using it to promote their own website.

I have also seen Talent Hunter.com claim that they do casting for Disney, and that also is not true. Just check with IMDb and there has never been a single Disney show that they ever cast.

I have to disagree with the above answers. I don't think its fair to lash out at them when you don't even have an understanding of what they do. They are not a casting company, all they do is provide info on the castings that are available. I have my account and have been able to get work through them by merely applying my self.

yeah  its a scam.... do u think a big str like miley cyrus or selena g. ever used such a  website to become famous?  u shouldnt waste your money... anything or anybody legit would never ask for money and u could always find auditions for free elsewhere, i would say look into getting an agent

They have a bunch of reviews from people who got work listed on their site.  I have used them for years and have been on a bunch of auditions thanx to them!  Don't listen to haters that aren't really anyone to give advice since im sure what ever they are doing to get cast has gotten them no where!

Yes that website is a SCAM, they don't really have auditions for Disney, Disney auditions are kept private for those who have an agent.. that show is also still in the making, i'm not sure when auditions will be for it.. but it's supposed to be and open casting call so keep checking the internet.
