Is Team Polizei (with Alex Roy) participating in the 2008 Gumball 3000 Rally?

I have viewed pictures and video from the starting line and never say their now famous M5 police car and was wondering if they are not doing the gumball 3000 this year.

No, for some reason, Team Polizei is not participating this year, along with a lot of the Gumball veterans. However, Alex Roy is following the Rally very closely and is mapping out its major events and progress.
