to answer another one of your questions, technine is a great company...they have been around since 1993 and came out with revolutionary bindings.  they know what they are doing and the company is owned by true riders that are dedicated one hundred percent to their sport.  the board you have is a great board and the boards they make, they take what they already know and evolve every year into better boards, just like they did with their bindings.  you should have alot of fun on your ride...go enjoy it :)

iv heard of them and i think theyre about middle range in all the brands. so yea not top brand but still pretty good
