I can't see what genuine progress the club has made in four years?

  1. Hardly a 'fill in' coach if he has been there 4 years, you don't fill in for that long.

Read some funny comments from  so called footy fans, one was a ripper, concerning Brown,  this bloke obviously didn't see the most played footage of an injury i have ever seen , he was at his peak at that time, single handily beat collingwood, the week b4 i think,   then missed the footy he missed, couldn't possible use that as an example,  Wallace is a good coach, Richmond pick $hit draft picks, the number 1's we have picked were useless, over the years,  Ty esler,  Anthony banick,     but  i know our number 2 this year will be a champion,  Trent Cotchin.  this kid has the poise of a 50-60 game player already,  as for Wallace i think he has next year to run, i would let him see it out, besides why waste the paying out a coach only to bring in a new one who has no idea how these young blokes can play.

  2. I am sort of wondering myself. His record at the Buldogs wasnt smashing either. I think that the progression of the Tigers boils down to Richos recent good form but he wont be there forever so what then?

i am hoping that the Bombers dont go down the same road but they seem to be heading that way.

  3. Give him to the end of the season. Its just over half way through and Richmond has already won more games than last year and shown some good signs.

  4. I think we used to think about Richmond as we think about Melbourne now....easy beats

When Wallace went to the Tigers he was faced with a terrible list and a culture not conducive to performance

He's instilled that now....they just need to develop the list

Cotchin, Delidio, Newman, Reiwoldt, Tuck, Tambling, King are the ones to watch

  5. agree

they should sack wallace and get sheedy

    hes a far better coach

  6. Terry wallace is still at Richmond because he has a 5yr contract

  7. I don't think you can blame Terry they are showing signs of improvement and hopefully for tiger fans they will keep improving and over the next few years they will be a final eight chance

  8. Terry Wallace may not have made progress in a sense of winning games and playing finals, but I think he has definitely started rebuilding the club, and has given some younger players experience. He won't win the Tigers a flag, or get them playing a lot of finals footy, but he has set them on their way.

  9. Good Question, picking up Brown a few years back was good but what good has it done, none. They dont seem to have enough good young talent after having high draft picks for the last few years. We will have to wait and see but i would look for a new coach if i was Richmond, even though i like Wallace.

Read a comment below saying how great Brown has been for the club its strange how they are still near the bottom of the ladder, I think Brown is a good player but has done nothing to help the tigers improve, The tigers need more good young players and not just 1 older player to improve. But dont listen to me, Listen to the Know-it-all Tigers guy who thinks because Brown helped them to 1 win over the Pies years ago, this means the tigers are on track. lol

  10. I don't think he's a premiership coach.   For the amount of time he's been a coach,  if he was going to win a flag,  he would've done it by now.

But I'll give him one thing.   His idea of taking Richo out of the forward line a putting him on the wing was a masterstroke.    He's a Brownlow chance now.

  11. Being a blues supporter I can understand your frustration. But unfortunately like the blues and bombers the tigers recruited poorly from 1998-2002. The players selected then should be the base of your side now all being around the 23-27 years but previous coaches and administrations traded away early draft choices for older recycled players that were not up to scratch and you now have a lack of these players in your list. Then injuries to your 2003-2006 draft selections have stalled any progress. Go to your clubs website and check out the age and games played of each listed player. Man the tigers are very young. Even more so than the Blues and Bombers. And your 22-25 year olds have mostly played under 50 games. compare that to the age and games played by the hawks and you will see why they will be bottom half team for 2-3 years yet. Have faith the tigers will be up there again.

  12. Ohh you are harsh..haha..

They arent in the bottem 3 this year isnt that a start?

How bout the rebuilding hes done..?

Come on I dont even like his coaching style and even I can find some heart for the man.. heh.

Pick on Mark Harvey, now theres a temp if I ever saw one!!
