Is Tesco Express (the small corner shop ones) more expensive than Tesco Extra (the large stores)?

i used to live round the corner from one i didn,t find it more expensive but i did find they didn,t stock the cheap brands like tesco  own beans,they only had heinz.so every thing in store was the same price as larger stores but only top brands.i hope you followed all that lol
