Yes, and like most museums there's a gift shop.  There's also a cafeteria.  In my opinion, the best thing about the Pompidou is the view from the landing at the top of the last escalator.  If you go at night, you can see lot's of the city's famous sites illuminated.  It's really stunning.

yes it's a modern art museum and it also has a library.
