It was reported in the Times newspaper today that there has been a large increase in the number of women selling their bodies over the internet in order to make ends meet now that the economy is heading into recession:

maybe, but traditionally during hard times they're more apt to sell 'avon' or 'tupperware' to supplement their income,or replace income from being laid off.
