  2. Oxygen deprivation, ore dead zones, is not directly a result of global warming. It is a result of growth of too much plant material which in turn collects in some areas and decomposes, using up all of the available oxygen.

Our oceans have an unending supply of all the plant nutrients they need to grow plants, because as the plants die, they return that plant nutrient to the water for the next batch of plants to use. But in addition, we have plants called blue-green algae that create a lot of nitrate fertilizer to make all plants grow like crazy.

Carbon dioxide from the atmosphere is all that is needed to make the plants grow, and of course they hav that in spades.

It is very important to have those plants sopping up that CO2, and releasing the O2 to the atmosphere. We urgently need that O2 in the air.

But leaving the CO2 in the ocean, while removing the Oxygen is very hard on all animal life.

What we need to do is harvest those many tons of plant material, and use it for fuel on land.

The same amoung to CO2 is released as when the plants decompose in water, but we avoid releasing CO2 from fossil fuels the ocean plant matter replaces.

No, this removal of plant matter wil not cause ocean animals to starve. they are dying from lack of oxygen. An animal only dies once.

  3. yes its real

  4. The zones with low oxygen are real.  Any connection to Global Warming is yet to be proven.  After all AGW is just one of our many crimes against nature.
