  1. more than likely a myth...however, there could be some kind of undiscovered creatures down there who really knows?? but if it is real it would be a left over dino probably?? lol thats my guess anyway... :)

  2. Really it is a unsolved mystery, however there are reports of a creature in the water since the times of Saint Pratrice. The first report of a creature in the water was about two hundred years before his time, there was a saint who was at Loch Ness with men who were following him, one of them happened to fall into the water and a creature describe as Nessie is appeared and tried to eat the one who fell into the water. The saint cried out and told the creature to go back to the depths of the Loch, the man survived. Thats when the Loch Ness monster first appeared and well really till we find it, we will never know.

  3. I don't think anyone knows for sure but the best probability would be that she would be a dinosaur, and it is highly unlikely that she would be the sole surviving one.  Odds favor that she was a myth; either an intentionally created hoax, or simply a realistic question based upon some compelling photographs.

  4. Cryptids are being discovered all the time, so there is always a chance that there is something in the Loch.

  5. Hello. I personally believe something is in the waters but I have no scientific evidence. If you want a plausible sounding story then Read Steve Alten's The Loch. It is an excellent book. But who's to say with any authority that which is conjecture. Good bye.

  6. it probably at one time was a real creature. But i doubt that a lake like Lochness in Scottland could hold something so big, it probably lived in the ocean and come in to breed in lochness lake. But now, i doubt such a creature exsists because of all the polution in the waters.

Although i like to believe the story too :)

  7. Every reputable scientist would say no.  Same thing with the supposid lake champlain moster which could be the same as the Loch ness monster.  Not to completely burst your bubble, in the ocean, there are places unlooked at by people and could have a lot of undiscovered animals (big or small I'm assuming).

  8. Unknown.  The waters Of Loch Ness are extremely dark and polarized, the most recent venture I saw was unable to look any deeper than a few feet with the best modern equipment has to offer.  For such a large creature to go unnoticed it is possible that she hibernates for long periods of time or breaths underwater. Until such a time that Nessy's existence can be either proved or disproved, the answer is unknown.

  9. Good thinking. Yahoo! Answers is just the way to solve that old mystery. And to think of all the money that could have been saved by simply asking here rather than going out on scientific investigations and searches. Apparently some people are just not all that smart.
