  1. There exist no supernatural processes or beings, so no- the Queen Mary is not haunted.

  2. Yes, it is.  I left a voice activated tape recording in a stateroom there once and picked up all sorts of strange sounds.

  3. During the ship's 60-year history, the Queen Mary was the site of 49 reported deaths, so there are plenty of potential spirits to haunt its hallways. Reported hauntings include a young crewman in the engine room, swimmers in the first-class pool, a man in black, and a woman in blue. Queen Mary was called the Grey Ghost during its years as a World War II transport ship, but even now, with its service long over, the Queen Mary is still associated with ghosts: over a dozen apparitions have been reported aboard the ship.

  4. the ship had witnessed numerous deaths already, sure any of those poor souls would still be hanging around for justice you know

  5. Personally, I don't believe in ghosts.  But there are those who claim that the Queen Mary is haunted.

  6. My Mother sailed on the Queen Mary when she was 10, in 1935 to relocate to New York City with her family from Ireland and she says yes it is haunted. We went to see it when it was docked in Long Beach CA many years ago
