Is The Under Armour Baseball Factory Team Tryout a Scam?

Question

Every year I get letters to tryout for this team for 200 dollars due to my association with American Legion baseball . Well, this year it was a bit different, and I recognized it as a scam right away. On the Tryout for was a hand written message by one of the recruiters and it said,

Stephen,

I heard you are a solid infielder (which I am) register ASAP Spots are limited.

Is this a huge scam to make money or is this program any good?

try doing a search for baseball recruiting, baseball factory is no where to be found... sounds like a scam to me...
