I think it's done.  Too bad, it was the bet animated series on TV. They are suppose to be making a movie however. M. Knight Shamalyn is directing.

If you get an answer saying that there is a book four, they are mistaken.

The creators of Avatar said at the San Diego Comic Convention that the seasons were based on the elements Aang had to learn. Like, Book Water, Earth, and Fire. And since Aang already knew airbending, there isn't going to be a book four. Aang defeated the Firelord and that was the main goal of the series.

But luckily, there will be a movie based on book 1 coming out July of 2010!
